Chelsea already know their next transfer move after Xavi Simons as six deals planned

The summer transfer window has produced a number of high-profile transfers within the Premier League and Chelsea have been one of the biggest beneficiaries.

On the back of qualifying for the Champions League, winning the Conference League and being crowned champions of the world, Enzo Maresca's men are preparing for a different challenge this season.

The Blues have moved to improve their squad this summer with seven new arrivals. Youngsters Kendry Paez and Estevao have finally joined the club after previously completing deals while Mamadou Sarr and Dario Essugo continued the club's commitment of recruiting wonderkids.

First-team signings have all come in attack with Joao Pedro, Liam Delap and Jamie Gittens coming in. With Jadon Sancho returning to Manchester United after his loan spell last term, a clear plan to bolster Maresca's options in attack has been efficient.

Noni Madueke has left the club for Arsenal with Kepa Arrizabalaga joining him in north London. And apart from Djordje Petrovic leaving for Bournemouth, there haven't been many senior exits.

That is about to change though and the roll-out of player sales will be vital in what the Stamford Bridge outfit do next. Joao Felix is closing in on a £43.7million move to Al Nassr, Nicolas Jackson's exit hasn't been ruled out and Christopher Nkunku is expected to leave.

There is also an expectation that Raheem Sterling, Marc Guiu and Axel Disasi will leave in some capacity. It appears that Maresca is already planning on future reinforcements with Xavi Simons close to joining.

Talks will continue this week with RB Leipzig to wrap up a deal for the playmaker, football.london understands. A bid is yet to be submitted but it's believed that the German side want around £60m.

Ajax's Jorrel Hato is also being lined-up in what would be the latest defensive reinforcement in west London. However, if Jackson and Nkunku depart, there's a strong chance another attacker will be considered for the depth.

Alejandro Garnacho continues to be linked with a move to Stamford Bridge. Eberechi Eze and Morgan Rogers are two homegrown options that have been mentioned since the window opened.

Currently speaking, Maresca has options in attack. Estevao, Gittens, Pedro and Delap have only added to that. But if Jackson and Nkunku join Felix out the door, one more forward option could come in.
