Send Push

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has officially released the date sheet for the Class 10 and Class 12 practical examinations for the September 2025 session. According to the schedule, these exams will be conducted between September 12 and September 27, 2025. The detailed timetable has been uploaded on the official website, and admit cards will soon be available for students to download.

Admit Cards to Be Released Soon

NIOS has announced that the hall tickets for the practical exams will be made available shortly on the official portal – nios.ac.in. Students can download their intimation-cum-hall tickets through the SDMIS platform at sdmis.nios.ac.in. Additionally, center superintendents will be able to access admit cards directly from their dashboards.

The institute has made it clear that the announced dates are final and will not be revised. Students who have already paid their exam fees will be allowed to appear for the test without paying any additional charges.

Exams to Be Conducted at the Same Study Centers

All practical examinations will be held at the study centers where students are currently enrolled. In cases where centers have been canceled or closed, or if there are very few registered candidates, students may be relocated to another center. In such situations, prior information will be shared with the students.

To avoid last-minute confusion, candidates have been advised to confirm details with their respective Accredited Institutions (AI) or Regional Centers well before the exams.

Small Batch System for Smooth Conduct

NIOS has stated that the practical tests will be conducted in small batches to ensure better supervision and smooth execution. Students are encouraged to stay in close contact with their exam center superintendents or coordinators to confirm their exact dates and batch allotments.

Marks Submission Deadline

One of the important announcements from NIOS is that marks obtained in the practical exams must be uploaded online by October 10, 2025. These marks will be directly submitted on the NIOS portal.

Once the practical exams are completed and the marks are uploaded, the results for both Classes 10 and 12 will be prepared. The institute has confirmed that the final results will be declared within seven weeks after the completion of theory examinations.

Result Declaration and Certificates

Results will be announced online at sdmis.nios.ac.in, and students have been instructed not to make inquiries about the result date before the official declaration. Once published, the mark sheet-cum-certificate and migration-cum-transfer certificate will be sent to the students’ Accredited Institutions.

In the event of institutional closures, these important documents will be dispatched to the students’ residential addresses via regional centers.
