UPSC IFS Mains Admit Card 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the admit card for the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Mains Exam 2025. Candidates appearing for the exam can now download their hall ticket by visiting the commission's official website – upsc.gov.in. The exam will be held from November 16 to November 23, 2025, at various centers across the country.
Exam Date and Time
According to the UPSC, the IFS Mains exam will be conducted over eight days. Each day, the exam will be held in two shifts – from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Candidates are advised to arrive at the exam center on time and follow the instructions.

1. First, candidates should visit the official UPSC website – upsc.gov.in.
2. Then click on the “E-Admit Card for Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination 2025” link on the home page.
3. Now, candidates should enter their roll number or registration ID and date of birth.
4. Then, enter the required captcha code and click Submit.
5. Your admit card will appear on your screen. Download and print it.

Admit Card Will Contain These Details
The admit card contains information such as the candidate's name, roll number, exam center, exam date, shift timing, and photo-signature. Candidates are advised to check all the information carefully. If there are any discrepancies, contact UPSC immediately.
Exam Pattern
The IFS Mains exam will consist of a total of six papers. The first two papers are for General Studies:
Paper 1: General English – 300 marks
Paper 2: General Knowledge – 300 marks
Followed by four papers on optional subjects, each carrying 200 marks. Each paper will be of 3 hours duration.
Important Instructions for Candidates
UPSC has clarified that candidates must bring their admit card along with a valid photo identification card (Aadhaar, PAN, or driving license) to the examination center. Mobile phones, electronic gadgets, smartwatches, calculators, or any other digital devices are strictly prohibited at the examination center.
