'Hunt down each & every culprit': Amit Shah says Delhi car explosion culprits will face 'full wrath of agencies'

Union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired multiple review meetings with senior officials on the Delhi car blast, wherein he instructed the officials to "hunt down each and every culprit" behind the explosion. He affirmed that everyone involved in the act "will face the full wrath of our agencies."

In a post on X, Shah said, "Chaired review meetings on the Delhi car blast with the senior officials. Instructed them to hunt down each and every culprit behind this incident. Everyone involved in this act will face the full wrath of our agencies."


On November 10, a slow-moving Hyundai i20 car exploded near Gate 1 of Red Fort Metro Station in Delhi, killing at least 12 people and leaving several others injured. Several probe agencies, including NIA, NSG and the Special Cell of the Delhi Police are looking into the matter. The forensic team also collected samples from the explosion site last night to investigate the matter.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also stock of the situation immediately after the blast triggered a high alert in the national capital on Monday evening. He addressed the public on Tuesday saying that those behind the blast near Delhi’s Red Fort will face strict action, asserting that every individual involved in the conspiracy will be brought to justice.

Speaking from Bhutan's Thimphu, Modi said, "...The conspirators behind this will not be spared. All those responsible will be brought to justice."

"Today, I come here with a very heavy heart. The horrific incident that took place in Delhi yesterday evening has deeply saddened everyone. I understand the grief of the affected families. The entire nation stands with them today. I was in touch with all the agencies investigating this incident throughout last night. Our agencies will get to the bottom of this conspiracy. The conspirators behind this will not be spared. All those responsible will be brought to justice."
