Exclusive - Ribbhu Mehra joins Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 4 to play Shivangi Joshi's Ex-boyfriend; says 'BALH is a brand in itself'

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein fame Actor Ribbhu Mehra joins the cast of Ekta Kapoor 's one of the most popular TV shows Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 4 , starring Harshad Chopda and Shivangi Joshi .

Ribbhu will be seen in a recurring role of Nikhil. He said : I'm delighted to join the cast of one of the loved shows. I'm playing Nikhil. He is Bhagyashree 's (Shivangi Joshi) ex lover who had broken her heart by not turning up for their marriage."

The story has taken a 6 month leap to unfold Ribbhu and Shivangi's past. "After the leap he is back in her life as a friend who has helped her in getting the job at his workplace. He is remorseful of what he had done and regrets it and wants to be back with her but at the same time is respectful of Bhagyashree's choice of just being friends for now. It's a positive character who wants to see Bhagyashree happy and is hoping to be back with her."

Returning back on TV, as the actor was last seen in 2023 in Swaraj and Bindiya Sarkar. He shares, "Well my last show on Television was 1.5 years ago and not that I was not getting offers but it was not something which was interesting to be part of. When BALH approached me for this, I was keen on it because the story after the leap is very interesting with Nikhil being in it. BALH is a brand in itself and also I have worked with Balaji Telefilms in the past and there is a comfort in working with the team. Hoping that the audience will love me and the new development in the show."

Ribbhu is known for featuring in shows such as Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Bohot Pyaar Karte Hai, Kumkum Bhagya, My Name Ijj Lakhan among others.
