Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited the Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) office in Greater Mumbai on May 23. During his visit, he inaugurated 'Janata Darbar' for public grievance redressal and the 'Visvesvaraya Engineer-Architect Conference Room' for technical discussions and planning.
On this occasion, Shinde personally handed over keys, heirship certificates and certified copies of Annexure-II – containing joint ownership details (in the names of both husband and wife) – to project-affected flat allottees.
Under the Chief Minister’s Reform Programme titled '7-Point Action Plan for 100 Days,' the SRA, Greater Mumbai office, has achieved remarkable progress in key areas such as website improvement, office cleanliness, grievance redressal, ease of services, investment promotion and effective use of technology — earning a performance score of 82.16.
Present at the event were Dr Mahendra Kalyankar (IAS), Chief Executive Officer, MLA Dilip Lande, officers and staff of the Authority and members of the general public.
Shinde praised the efficiency of the Authority and congratulated the SRA, Brihanmumbai, for securing the first rank. He extended his best wishes for continued excellent performance in the coming 150 days.
