Amidst the tension between India and Pakistan, a Muslim country has extended a hand of friendship towards India. This is the same country which was shouting the slogan of India Out till a few days ago.

Maldives India Relation: Maldives President Moizzu, who came to power by giving the slogan of India Out, has understood that his country will not be able to survive without India. That is why Moizzu has signed 13 MoUs with Maldives. When Pakistan will come to know about this deal, it will be furious that a Muslim country has come so close to India.
These include projects to enhance ferry services, expand maritime connectivity and enhance community livelihoods with a grant of 10 crore Maldives rupees. These Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed on Sunday for projects to be implemented under the Indian Grant Assistance Scheme- High Impact Community Development Project (HICDP) Phase-3.
13 deals signed between India and Maldives
The signing ceremony was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which is another milestone in the ever-strengthening partnership between the two countries, the Maldives Foreign Ministry said in a statement. The total grant amount for the 13 projects launched under this phase is 10 crore Maldivian rupees (about 55 crore Indian rupees).
India High Commission in Maldives gave information about the deal
The High Commission of India in Maldives posted on X, 'India and Maldives signed 13 MoUs on 18 May to enhance ferry services in Maldives with a grant of Rs 10 crore Maldives under HICDP 3. India is happy to partner with the Government of Maldives to enhance maritime connectivity for the people of Maldives.'
The MoUs were signed by Foreign Minister Abdullah Khalil on behalf of the Maldives government and G Balasubrahmanyam, High Commissioner of India to Maldives, on behalf of the Maldives government.
