Police have found human remains during a search for a mumwho vanished almost 20 years ago.
Malgorzata Wnuczek was 27-years-old when she went missing from Leicester on 31 May 2006, with her family last hearing from her in a text two days prior. Specialist officers discovered human remains while scouring land off Great Central Way as part of their investigation into her disappearance, Leicestershire Police confirmed. The force said it was "unknown" whether the remains were that of Ms Wnuczek and that "further forensic tests will be undertaken to establish the identity of the person in question".
Wnuczek, who was originally from Poland, was last seen boarding a bus from her workplace at Peter Jackson Logistics.
