Horror in Spain as driver 'mows people down' outside stadium before football match

Chaos has erupted in this evening after reports suggest a number of people have been struck by a driver outside a football stadium.

The horrific scenes happened just minutes before a league match between RCD Espanyol and FC Barcelona at the RCDE Stadium in Cornella-El Prat on the outskirts of .

Videos posted on social media show the chaotic scenes, with dozens of officers in attendance. It is not yet known whether there have been any casualties as a result of the incident.
