While thick winter raincoats are ideal for when you're certain the weather will be dreadful, packable rain macs that can tuck neatly into bags are incredibly handy to have - especially on the go.
The Pakka II Womens Waterproof Jacket is currently on sale for £29.99, down from £44.99 at Mountain Warehouse's website, but new members to TopCashback can get it for £13.74, reports Wales Online.
The money-saving site TopCashback offers anyone signing up for the time a free £15 bonus when they make their initial purchase on items over £15 through the website.
Within seven days of the purchase being made, the £15 bonus will appear in the account holder's account to withdraw, alongside any cashback due from the brand. This means, when people buy the Pakka II Women's Waterproof Jacket, after all the reductions, effectively it will cost £13.74.
The jacket is available in seven different colours, from more neutral black and navy to vibrant lilac, mint blue and red. It comes in a wide range of sizes from four to 32. Most shades are selling fast, but the burgundy and lilac are still available in the majority of sizes.
Described as a "versatile essential", the jacket is "fully waterproof" and features taped seams and stretch cuffs to prevent any rain leaking in. With a foldable hood, and two zippered pockets for phones or keys, the jacket comes with its own drawstring bag.
Its price tag when bought with TopCashback rivals the likes of Regatta's Women's Pack-It III Waterproof Jacket, which is currently on sale for £25, down from £50. Also coming with a bag in which to store the waterproof jacket, it comes in seven different bright colours.
For something a little longer, Cotton Traders' Windermere Waterproof Coat 50" is currently on sale from £85 to £75, saving £10, and comes wadded for "extra warmth".
The Mountain Warehouse pack-a-mac has received over 1,300 glowing reviews from shoppers who have deemed it "excellent for wet weather walks", with others loving how "lightweight" it is.
"Really lightweight, Very good protection from wind and rain," a fan of the coat shared, while someone else raved: "Necessary for any weather. Warm and waterproof with hood for hair protection in rain!"
One shopper remarked how it had proved a hit with their teen: "My daughter is always reluctant to wear a coat so this was a perfect middle ground as small enough to fit in her school bag."
While its waterproof design has been commended by some Mountain Warehouse customers, one shopper highlighted a minor drawback: "Lightweight, folds away easily and keeps the rain out but material does stick to you in the warmer, muggy weather."
Others mentioned that they weren't fans of its creased appearance after being packed away, with one commenting: Just a shame it stays crumpled-looking no matter how long it is out of the bag."
