Sources from GMC said Lokesh had a recent argument with a female colleague at the state-run New Civil Hospital (NCH), where he was posted. However, the nature and details of the disagreement are yet to be confirmed.
Police are examining all possible angles, including personal and academic stress, and are awaiting statements from friends and colleagues to establish the sequence of events.
