The actress appeared on the first episode of Koffee With Karan Season 6 alongside Alia Bhatt. During the rapid-fire round, host Karan Johar asked her to choose between “babies” and “movies.” Deepika, without hesitation, replied that she would pick both, "Babies while doing movies."

Deepika had married Ranveer Singh on November 14, 2018, after dating for a few years. In February 2024, the couple announced they were expecting their first baby. While many assumed Deepika would take a break from work, she proved otherwise. She finished shooting for 'Singham Again' and also took part in the promotions of 'Kalki AD 2898'.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film 'King', directed by Siddharth Anand, begins shooting on May 18. The film also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Suhana Khan, with Deepika Padukone making a cameo appearance. 'King' is slated for a late 2026 release.
